Abstract Objective To discuss the rule of syndrome differentiation and treatment and medication strategy of coronary heart disease by Chinese medical master. Methods The medical records of Chinese medical masters were collected from published literatures and monographs by literature research method. The retrieval sources of documents and monographs were China national knowledge internet, Wanfang data knowledge service platform, Chongqing VIP Chinese periodical database, National Library of China·China National Digital Library and National Library Reference Alliance. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to January 2021. The collected medical record information was used for statistical analysis and data mining. Results A total of 190 research articles and 38 monographs were included, and 278 medical records were collected. A total of 17 high-frequency four diagnosis information, 13 high-frequency syndrome information, 8 high-frequency treatment methods, 21 high-frequency drugs and 15 high-frequency drug pairs were obtained. Conclusion Medical records of Chinese medical masters suggest that the location of coronary heart disease is in the heart, which is closely related to liver, spleen, and kidney. Blood stasis and phlegm are the core syndrome, and a variety of syndromes coexist. The treatment takes promoting blood circulation as the core, combined with a variety of treatment methods. Drug use has an obvious concentration trend, and drug compatibility mostly comes from classical prescriptions.
