Application of aerobic-resistance exercise combined with stratified intervention in maintenance hemodialysis patients#br# |

Abstract Objective To analyze the application effect of aerobic-resistance exercise combined with stratified intervention in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients. Methods A total of 100 patients with MHD who were treated in NO.2 People’s Hospital of Fuyang City, Anhui Province from March 2018 to March 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine intervention, while the observation group was given aerobic-resistance exercise combined with stratified intervention for five consecutive months. Before the intervention and five months after the intervention, the cardiorespiratory endurance of the two groups was detected and compared; the times of sitting, standing and grip strength within 60 s were evaluated; the occurrence of complications during the intervention was recorded. Results After five months of intervention, the maximal oxygen uptake and metabolic equivalent of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, while those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). At five months of intervention, the 60 s sit-standing times and grip strength in the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, while those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of dialysis hypotension in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Aerobic-resistance exercise combined with stratified intervention is more conducive to improving the cardiorespiratory endurance of MHD patients, increasing the number of 60 s sitting-standing and grip strength, and reducing the incidence of dialysis hypotension.
