| Effects of postoperative prone position nursing on incision healing of lumbosacral spinal canal tumors#br# |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effects of postoperative prone position nursing on incision healing of lumbosacral spinal canal tumors. Methods A total of 80 patients with lumbosacral intraspinal tumors undergoing surgical treatment in the spinal cord and spinal ward of the Department of Neurosurgery, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University from January to April 2021 were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into experimental group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases) according to random number table method. The experimental group was given prone position nursing after surgery, while the control group was given supine position nursing after surgery. The differences in incidence of postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage, wound healing rate, length of hospital stay and patient comfort were compared between the two groups. Results The wound healing degree of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the incidence of cerebrospinal fluid leakage, length of hospital stay and comfort level of the experimental group were lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Prone position nursing can reduce cerebrospinal fluid leakage, promote incision healing and shorten hospital stay in patients with lumbosacral intraspinal tumor.
