Abstract Old ectopic pregnancy (OEP) is a special type of tubal pregnancy (TP). If it is not healed for a long time, it will have a serious impact on the physical and mental health of women. The purpose of the treatment of this disease is to eliminate the pelvic mass and preserve, restore and improve the function of the fallopian tubes. Conservative treatment can relieve the pain and risk of surgery. Western medicine is based on anticipatory therapy. Traditional Chinese medicine focuses on “removing blood stasis”, and traditional Chinese medicine, such as oral administration, external application, enema and comprehensive therapy, has the characteristics of less side effects, economical convenience, and clear effects in the treatment of this disease. At the same time, clinical trials have shown that the rational combination of traditional Chinese medicine with methotrexate, mifepristone, and low-dose antibiotics can also achieve good results.
