Relationship between interleukin, adiponectin gene polymorphism and breast cancer#br# |

Abstract Objective To explore the relationship between interleukin (IL), adiponectin (APN) gene polymorphisms and breast cancer Methods This study was a retrospective analysis, a total of 96 patients with breast cancer admitted to Rugao Hospital Affiliated to Nantong University (“our hospital” for short) from January 2018 to January 2020 were divided into breast cancer group, another 96 healthy women in our hospital who received physical examination in the same period were selected as normal control group. The general data of two groups were collected, and the gene polymorphisms of IL and APN genes were detected, the influencing factors of female breast cancer were analyzed. Results There were statistically significant differences between two groups in IL-10 gene promoter region-1082 genotype, IL-16 gene rs1556218 genotype, IL-6 gene-572 genotype, IL-8 gene-251 genotype, and APN gene-276 genotype (P < 0.05). IL-10 gene promoter region -1082 GA genotype, IL-16 gene rs1556218 TG genotype, IL-6 gene-572 CG genotype, IL-8 gene-251 TA genotype, and APN gene- 276TG genotype were influencing factors of female breast cancer (P < 0.05). Conclusion The occurrence of female breast cancer is closely related to IL-10 gene promoter region-1082 GA genotype, IL-16 gene rs1556218 TG genotype, IL-6 gene-572 CG genotype, IL-8 gene-251 TA genotype, and APN gene-276 TG genotype.
