Abstract With the decline of the diagnostic threshold of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and the opening of the national two-child and three-child policy, the prevalence of GDM in my country has continued to rise, and it has also become a major health problem that threatens women’s health. Relevant studies have confirmed that GDM women have a significantly higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes (T2DM) in the future than normal women, and long-term postpartum self-management is an effective strategy to prevent and delay T2DM. Therefore, by reviewing the content, influencing factors, research status, and intervention measures of postpartum self-management in women with GDM, this paper aims to provide a reference for clinical formulation of postpartum self-management intervention programs, thereby improving postpartum outcomes.
