Abstract Constructiing harmonious doctor-patient relationship is an important problem to be solved urgently in the development of China’s health cause. At present, our country does not pay enough attention to the cultivation of doctor-patient communication, the curriculum system is not scientific enough, the practicality is not strong, and the evaluation system is single. The problem can be solved from the following aspects: attaching importance to the cultivation of doctor-patient communication ability; strengthening the development of doctor-patient communication courses in various aspects; strengthening the practice teaching construction of doctor-patient relationship; developing and improving the training and evaluation system of medical students’ doctor-patient communication ability; strengthening education on medical laws and regulations. In the context of healthy China, medical colleges and universities should make joint efforts to train well-rounded successors of medical career.
