Abstract The objective structured clinical assessment (OSCE) plays an important role in the teaching of anesthesia practice. However, the anesthesiology specialty has a short response period when encountering a disease in the clinic, a high incidence of various crisis events, and a greater impact on survival and prognosis. It is necessary to train students who can deal with problems with high quality and efficiency in the internship stage of anesthesia, so that they can quickly respond to high-intensity and high-risk clinical anesthesia work after graduation, serve the public and improve anesthesia quality and safety of anesthesia, and the OSCE concept can closely meet the requirements and cultivate high-quality students in all aspects. Therefore, the OSCE assessment method is effectively integrated into the whole process of internship. It is an assessment for interns of anesthesiology major in acquiring professional medical knowledge and skills, establishing good doctor-patient relationship and communication skills, training the ability to care for patients, improving the medical practice ability and other aspects.
