Influencing factors of post-traumatic growth in patients with endometrial carcinoma after total hysterectomy#br# |

Abstract Objective To investigate the level of post-traumatic growth (PTG) in patients with endometrial carcinoma (EMC) after total hysterectomy, and to analyze the related factors of PTG of patients after operation. Methods The data of 120 EMC patients who received total hysterectomy treatment in the First Maternal and Child Health Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University from August 2014 to August 2018 was collectted, retrospectively. According to the score of PTG inventory after discharge, they were divided into normal level PTG group (score of PTG inventory ≥ 70 points, 75 cases) and low PTG level group (score of PTG inventory < 70 points, 45 cases). The baseline data of the two groups were compared, and logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of PTG in EMC patients after total hysterectomy. Results The proportions of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage Ⅱ, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score ≥50, self-rating depression scale (SDS) score ≥53, and the scores of perceived stress scale (PSS) in the low PTG level group were higher than those in the normal level PTG group, and the social support scale (SSRS) score was lower than that of normal PTG group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that FIGO stage Ⅱ, SAS score ≥ 50, SDS score ≥53 and high PSS score were independent risk factors for low PTG level after total hysterectomy in EMC patients (OR > 1, P < 0.05), while high SSRS score was protective factor (OR < 1, P < 0.05). Conclusion The level of PTG in EMC patients after total hysterectomy is affected by social support, stress perception, negative psychological emotions, FIGO stage, and other factors.
