Abstract As an important part of the Party construction, the Party construction of medical postgraduates plays an important role in the new journey of socialist construction and the reform of medical and health undertakings in China. Article expounds the strengthening the Party construction work of medical students for realizing the needs of national development, strengthening the position of education in colleges and universities, and strengthening the personal ideal and faith, analyzing the existing problems in the Party construction of clinical medical master degree students, such as students’ weak ideology, unreasonable branch setting, unclear party member status and so on. Combined with the professional characteristics and training mode, the paper puts forward the Party construction strategy of strengthening the branch construction as the core, taking the counselors and tutors as the starting point, and constructing the co-management and co-education of the university and hospital, so as to lay a foundation for improving the quality of the Party construction work and the level of ideological and political education of medical students.
