Abstract Femoral neck fractures in youth is mostly caused by high-energy injury, and there are various surgical treatments, such as traditional hollow compression screws, dynamic hip screws, percutaneous compression plates, and femoral neck compression locking bone plates, multiple hollow screws / Pauwels screws combined with fibular allograft, Smith & Nephew Conquest system, and Aesculap Targon system. However, no internal fixation method has been identified as the gold standard for the treatment of femoral neck fractures in youth. Therefore, this article reviews the commonly used treatment methods and the latest research of femoral neck fractures in youth, in order to provide a theoretical reference for the clinical treatment of femoral neck fracture in youth.
