Abstract Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease mainly characterized by inflammatory synovitis, with high morbidity, it seriously affects the quality of life of patients. JAK-STAT signaling pathway plays an important role in the production and activation of synovial cytokines in rheumatoid arthritis joints. Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating rheumatoid arthritis. In this paper, the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis via JAK-STAT signaling pathway in recent years is briefly reviewed, in order to broaden the thinking for clinical and experimental studies.
