Visual analysis of diabetes mellitus yin deficiency syndrome researches based on CiteSpace#br#

Abstract  Objective To analyze the hot spots and trends in the research field of diabetes mellitus yin deficiency syndrome visually based on CiteSpace, and to provide reference for future research in this field. Methods Literatures on diabetes mellitus yin deficiency syndrome in CNKI from January 2010 to December 2020 were selected. Based on the co-occurrence analysis function of CiteSpace, knowledge graphs were drawn for the analysis of annual publications, fund support, author cooperation network, distribution of literature research institutions, and research hotspots. Results Finally, 545 literatures were included, and the annual number of literatures presented a steady upward trend. The institutional cooperation network was mature and stable, with Beijing and Shanghai as the core regions, with typical regional characteristics. Syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin, syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney, diabetic nephropathy, and coronary artery heart disease were the important research contents and trends in this field. Conclusion At present, the research in the field of diabetes mellitus yin deficiency syndrome is developing continuously, gradually forming a balanced core team cooperation network, and combining with the research hotspots in multidisciplinary fields, and diseases such as coronary heart disease, diabetic nephropathy, etc., which to comprehensively build a more mature academic system.
