| Comparison and reference of medical science and technology budget management in typical developed countries#br# |

Abstract Typical developed countries have established national authoritative institutes of medical sciences such as National Institutes of Health, the British Medical Research Council and the Institut national de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale, etc., to adopt advanced budget management mode and to set up special fund for medical sciences and technology, etc., to provide financial support on medical sciences, and to promote the establishment of the national medical and scientific innovation system. By comparing and learning from the beneficial practices and good experiences of typical developed countries, it is helpful to clarify the operation path and key nodes of medical science and technology innovation funding system in China. That is, the establishment of a new National Academy of Medical Sciences, the establishment of a medical health science fund, and the use of public budget management tools to coordinate medical science and technology innovation resources.
