| The general situation and thinking on the course of pharmacology and toxicology in the University of New South Wales |

Abstract The course of pharmacology and toxicology in the University of New South Wales is worth 6 unit of credit for 12 weeks′ teaching time. Teaching forms have lectures, tutorials and practicals. The assessment consists of mid-session test, assignment, lab quizzes, online quiz and final exam. This article introduces the advantage of the course, such as attaching great importance to the practical of safety education and management, multimedia network resources, diversified courses assessment and riching teaching mode. It should be useful to improve the pharmacy teaching skills in our country.
