Abstract Diabetes mellitus and hypertension are polygenetic hereditary diseases, and the correlation of their genes has become a focus in academic research. This summary presents a review of literatures reported at home and abroad between the renin-angiotens in system gene polymorphism and diabetes mellitus with hypertension.
