Effect comparison of fixation technique of minirnally invasive plate osteosynthsis and open reduction and internal fixation in treatment of tibia shaft fracture |

Abstract Objective To discuss the effect of fixation technique of minirnally invasive plate osteosynthsis and open reduction and internal fixation in the treatment of tibia shaft fracture. Methods From January 2015 to March 2017, in Baoji Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 60 patients with tibia shaft fracture were selected, they were divided into two groups according to the treatment, observation group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases). Patients in the control group were treated with open reposition imfixation, and patients in the observation group were treated with minirnally invasive plate osteosynthsis. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, degree of pain, healing time, and the incidence of complications of patients were compared between the two groups; treatment effect of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time of observation group was shorter than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The intraoperative blood loss and healing time of the observation group were significantly less than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). 1, 3, 7 days after surgery, the VAS scores of observation group were lower those that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Postoperative internal fixation loosening, malformation, infection, lower limb ischemia necrosis were the main complications, total incidence of complications in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, the difference were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the excellence rate of the observed group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Compared with open reduction and internal fixation, minirnally invasive plate osteosynthsis in the treatment of tibia shaft fracture can obviously reduce the intraoperative blood loss, shorten the healing time, reduce the degree of postoperative pain, is safe and effective, and worthy of clinical application.
