Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of high-quality nursing at perioperative period in treatment of patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation by radiofrequency catheter ablation. Methods From January 2016 to December 2017, in Department of Cardiology, West China Hospital, Sichuan University, 98 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation treating with radiofrequency catheter ablation. According to the random digital table, 98 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation were divided into observation group and control group, with 49 cases in each group. The observation group was given high-quality nursing at perioperative period, while the control group was given routine nursing at perioperative period. The total effective rate, complication rate and the patients′ satisfaction in two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate, satisfaction rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05), the complication rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion For patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, high-quality nursing at perioperative period in treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation is performed, which can significantly improve the total effective rate and reduce the incidence of related complications, improve the relationship between nurses and patients, and improve the quality of nursing and patient satisfaction degree.
