| Effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the compliance and quality of life in patients with chronic renal insufficiency |

Abstract Objective To explore and analyze the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the compliance and quality of life in patients with chronic renal insufficiency. Methods Ninety cases of patients with chronic renal insufficiency admitted to Department of Nephrology, the First Hospital of China Medical University from January 2015 to January 2017 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, on basis of routine nursing, the observation group was added with comprehensive nursing intervention. The nursing compliance, indexes of renal function (including urea nitrogen, creatinine, serum albumin, hemoglobin) and quality of life (including the physical function, role function, cognitive function, emotional function and social function) between two groups were compared. Results The nursing compliance rate in the observation group (93.33%) was higher than that of control group (75.56%), with statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.05). After nursing intervention, the indexes of renal function in the two groups were all higher than those before intervention, and the indexes above in the observation group were improved more significantly, with statistically significant differences (P ＜ 0.05). After nursing intervention, the scores of quality of life in the two groups were all higher than those before intervention, and the scores above in the comprehensive nursing group were improved more significantly, with statistically significant differences (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can enhance the nursing compliance of patients with chronic renal insufficiency, promote the recovery of renal function, improve the quality of life.
