| Effect of JCI standard combined with fast-track care on postoperative hospital infections in patients with hepatic echinococcosis |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of JCI standard combined with fast-track care on postoperative hospital infections in patients with hepatic echinococcosis. Methods According to random number table, 60 postoperative patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis were divided into JCI standard combined with fast-track care group and JCI group, with 30 cases in each group. They were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from December 2016 to March 2017. The 3-,7- and 10-day incidence rates of incision infection, respiratory tract infection and urinary infection were compared between the two groups respectively, and the patients′ satisfaction of the two groups were also compared. Results The 3-,7- and 10-day incidence rates of incision infection, respiratory tract infection and urinary infection in the JCI standard combined with fast-track care group were lower than those in the JCI group (P ＜ 0.05). The improvement of patients′ satisfaction in the JCI standard combined with fast-track care group was higher than that in the JCI group (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion JCI standard combined with fast-track care can reduce the incidence of hospital infection and alleviate the sufferings of patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis.
