Abstract Peroxiredoxins (Prdx) is one kind of antioxidant enzymes in cells which can catalysis oxidation-reduction reactions to balance the level of hydrogen peroxide. They can also act as an important regulator in oxidation-reduction signal pathway, which is important for signal transduction and metabolism in cells. Many studies have showed that Prdx family plays different roles in tumors. Because of the change oftumor gene groups, their expressions changed, with the change of oxidation-reduction signal pathway. These changes lead to the influence of biological actions of tumors, offering new ideas of treatment of tumors. Therefore, we make a short conclusion of study about Prdx in tumors, in order to find a new way to treat tumors.
