| Study on the health status and health promotion measures of the elderly people in China |

Abstract At present，the overall health status of the elderly people in our country is not good. The health promotion work aimed at the characteristics of the elderly and the internal differences among the groups is still in its infancy. This paper illustrates the current status of health and health promotion of the elderly in our country，analyzes the main problems existing in the health promotion work，and puts forward corresponding health promotion countermeasures. The establishment of a health promotion model integrating many aspects of the state，community，hospital，family and individual is the future direction of the study on the health promotion of the elderly people.
