| The clinical experience of Yang Huacui Director in treating attack stage of childhood asthma by using classic prescription |

Abstract This paper introduces the clinical experience of Yang Huacui Director in treating attack stage of childhood asthma by using Zhang Zhongjing′s classic prescription. Yang Huacui Director believes that the essence of asthma is the deficiency of lung, spleen and kidney, with phlegm and blood stasis lurking inside. The main pathogenesis of attack stage is excessive pathogen. The key pathogenesis is that the lurking phlegm is triggered by the pathogenic factor outside. The pathogenesis is divided into cold and heat in the course of disease. Sustained attack results in vital qi deficiency, and that leads to deficiency and excess complicated symptoms. It needs symptomatic treatment in acute condition according to deficiency and excess, cold and heat. It is important to use Zhang Zhongjing′s classic prescription based on the syndrome differentiation. Yang Huacui is skilled in using Shegan Mahuang Decoction, Daqinglong Decoction, Xiaoqinglong Decoction and Maxing Shigan Decoction, which has achieved good clinical efficacy.
