| Effect of laparoscopic myomectomy on serum levels change of IGF-Ⅰ, TSGF and prognosis in patients with uterine fibroids after operation |

Abstract Objective To observe the effect of laparoscopic myomectomy on the levels change of serum insulin-like growth factor-Ⅰ(IGF-Ⅰ), tumor specific growth factor (TSGF) and prognosis in patients with uterine fibroids after operation. Methods The clinical data of 113 uterine fibroids patients treated in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Tangshan Hongci Hospital from June 2014 to June 2016 were analyzed retrospectively and grouped according to different methods of operation, the observation group (57 cases) receiving laparoscopic myomectomy, and the control group (56 cases) receiving traditional laparotomy. The surgical conditions, complications, the levels of serum IGF-Ⅰ and TSGF before and 2 d after operation and the uterine morphology, menstrual outcome, recurrence conditions 1 year after the operation of two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the blood loss in the observation group was lower, the time of hospitalization, the duration of anal exhaust and the time of getting out of bed were shorter, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.01).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The levels of serum IGF-Ⅰ and TSGF after 2 d of operation in two groups were lower than those before the operation, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The proportion of uterine morphology and menstruation turning to normal in the observation group was higher than that in the control group in the 1 year after the operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was insignificant difference in the recurrence rate between the observation group and the control group in the 1 year after the operation (P > 0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic myomectomy in patients with uterine fibroids can significantly reduce the incidence of complications, promote the recovery of patients, and reduce the serum levels of IGF-Ⅰ and TSGF.
