Abstract Objective To explore the correlation between helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection, High sensitive C reactive protein (Hs-CRP) and cardiac syndrome X (CSX). Methods From January 2012 to December 2016, in Mentougou Hospital, the clinical data of 78 CSX patients (CSX group) were retrospectively analyzed, 80 healthy persons were selected as the control group. All patients were given 13C-breath test and Hs-CRP level test, meanwhile, medical history, blood routine, biochemical, glucose, microalbuminuria, glycosylated hemoglobin and carotid atherosclerosis were collected. The correlation between Hp infection, Hs-CRP level and CSX was evaluated. Results ①The positive rates of C-breath test and Hs-CRP in CSX group were significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). ②Hs-CRP level in CSX group was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05)。③Hp≥4‰,Hs-CRP>5 mg/L, diabetes mellitus, female were independent predictors for CSX (P < 0.05). Conclusion There are certain correlation between CSX and Hp infection, elevated levels of Hs-CRP. Hp infection, Hs-CRP may be involved in pathogenesis of CSX.
