微创经尿道前列腺等离子电切术联合内分泌治疗在高龄晚期前列腺癌并尿潴留患者中的效果

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of minimally invasive transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate (PKRP) combined with endocrine therapy in the treatment of elderly patients with advanced prostate cancer complicated by urinary retention, and its effects on international prostate symptom score (IPSS) and life quality. Methods The clinical data of 70 elderly patients with advanced prostate cancer complicated by urinary retention admitted to the Department of Urology, Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University and underwent PKRP combined with endocrine therapy from October 2016 to October 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. The residual urine volume (RUV), maximum flow rate (Qmax), prostate specific antigen (PSA), the scores of IPSS and life quality in the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the RUV and PSA were significantly lower than those of before treatment, Qmax was significantly higher than that of before treatment, with highly statistically significant differences (P ＜ 0.01), the daily urination frequency, difficulty of holding urine and sense of incomplete urination were all significantly lower than those of before treatment, with highly statistically significant differences (P ＜ 0.01), the scores of life quality such as sleep quality, pain, fatigue and appetite were all significantly higher than those of before treatment, with highly statistically significant differences (P ＜ 0.01). Conclusion PKRP combined with endocrine therapy can effectively improve the urethral function, relieve the symptom and promote the life quality of elderly patients with advanced prostate cancer complicated by urinary retention.
