Analysis of the drug groups commonly used by Professor Zhou Enchao in the treatment of chronic kidney disease |

Abstract Professor Zhou Enchao believes that “renal toxicity” is the key to the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease, and puts forward the treatment method of “benefiting the kidney origin, detoxifying the kidney”, and treats it according to different causes of syndrome differentiation. This paper summarizes Professor Zhou Enchao’s commonly used drug groups for the treatment of chronic kidney disease: raw Astragali Radix, Pseudostellariae Radix, stir-frying Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, Fructus Corni are used to replenish qi, strengthen spleen and kidney; Perillae Folium, Coptidis Rhizoma, stir-frying Artemisiae Scopariae Herba, Shixiao Powder are used to regulate qi and blood, remove toxins; Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma, Serissa, Hedyotis, Centellae Herba are used to clear away heat, remove dampness and turbidity; Carthami Flos, Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Eupolyphaga Steleophaga, Persicae Semen are used to promote qi, improve blood circulation and disperse stasis; Scorpio, Bombyx Batryticatus, Cicadae Periostracum, Arctii Fructus are used to dispel wind, dredge collaterals, and detoxify; Poriae Cutis, Plantaginis Semen, Leonuri Herba, Corn Stigma are used to clearing damp, promoting diuresis and detumescence.
