Abstract Based on the background of “the 14th Five-Year Plan” strategic planning for the development of Chinese medicine, this paper clarifies the practical significance of the construction of the guidance service system for innovation and entrepreneurship in higher traditional Chinese medicine institutions under the new situation, analyzes the existing problems of the current guidance service system for innovation and entrepreneurship in higher colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine. The practical requirements for the construction of the innovation and entrepreneurship guidance service system in higher colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine under the new situation are proposed by making good use of the main teaching channels of innovation and entrepreneurship courses, optimizing the practice links of innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthening the support and guarantee for innovation and entrepreneurship. This provides a reference basis for cultivating innovative Chinese medicine talents and promoting the reform of higher education in traditional Chinese medicine.
