| One case of ventricular aneurysm after acute myocardial infarction treated by benefiting qi and activating blood circulation, cooling blood and generating muscle |

Abstract Ventricular aneurysm (VA) is one of the common complications of acute myocardial infarction, which seriously affects the prognosis of patients. In addition to surgery, there is still a lack of targeted treatment of VA in clinic. This paper reports a case of VA patient treated by traditional Chinese medicine after acute myocardial infarction. The patient underwent emergency percutaneous coronary intervention due to “coronary heart disease acute extensive anterior myocardial infarction”. Postoperative cardiac ultrasound indicated the formation of apical VA, accompanied by palpitation, upset, fatigue, dry mouth, and difficulty in sleeping and other symptoms. The author combined tongue syndrome differentiation as qi deficiency and blood stasis, phlegm and heat disturbing the heart. After the treatment of western medicine combined with benefiting qi for activating blood circulation, cooling blood and generating muscle, the patient’s symptoms improved and the VA disappeared. It is suggested that the treatment of VA by benefiting qi for activating blood circulation, cooling blood and generating muscle has a better effect. In this paper, the traditional Chinese medicine treatment to review the analysis, explore its theory, in order to broaden the treatment of this disease, and explore the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of this disease.
