Abstract  Objective To explore the effects of discharge preparation service strategy combined with personalized nursing management mode on discharge guidance quality, discharge readiness, and psychological state of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients. Methods A total of 200 IBD patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Military Medical University of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army from October 2018 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 100 cases in each group. The control group adopted the personalized nursing management mode intervention, and the observation group adopted the discharge preparation service strategy on this basis. The discharge guidance quality, discharge readiness, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), and self-rating depression scale (SDS) of two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of instruction content and instruction skills in two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in observation group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). The scores of self condition, disease knowledge, coping ability, and social support in two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in observation group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). The scores of SAS and SDS of two groups were lower than those before intervention, and those in observation group were lower than those in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of discharge preparation service strategy combined with personalized nursing management mode in IBD patients can improve the quality of discharge guidance, discharge readiness and psychological state, which is worthy of promotion.
