Abstract  Objective To investigate the effect of Yiqi Quyu Tongluo Decoction in the adjuvant treatment of neurotoxi-city induced by Oxaliplatin chemotherapy in patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome and its influence on peripheral nerve injury. Methods Sixty patients with neurotoxicity induced by Oxaliplatin chemotherapy in Taizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2015 to December 2019 were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. Observation group was treated with Yiqi Quyu Tongluo Decoction, and control group was treated with Mecobalamin. Both groups were treated for 15 days. The grade of peripheral neurotoxicity, efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome, Karnofsky performance score (KPS), hemoglobin and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results After treatment, the peripheral neurotoxicity grades of two groups were better than those before treatment, and observation group was better than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in observation group was higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in KPS and hemoglobin level on comparison within and between groups before and after treatment (P > 0.05). During the treatment, routine examination of blood, urine and stool, electrocardiogram, liver and kidney function were normal in both groups, and no serious adverse reactions and adverse events occurred in both groups. Conclusion Yiqi Quyu Tongluo Decoction can effectively improve the severity of peripheral neurotoxicity induced by Oxaliplatin chemotherapy, improve the therapeutic effect, and has high drug safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
