Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of Yangxue Qufeng Decoction of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of blood deficiency and wind dryness eczema. Methods Sixty-two patients with chronic eczema in department of dermatology, XIyuan Hospital CACMS from June 2016 to July 2017 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method, with 31 cases in each group. The treatment group received oral administration of Yangxue Qufeng Decoction, 200 mL/time, twice per day. The control group received oral administration of Loratadine 10 mg/d. Patients in two groups were administrated topical medication with Hydrocortisone butyrate, twice per day. The main symptom scores were observed and compared between the two groups, and the efficacy was evaluated. Results There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups before treatment of the main symptom integral (including pruritus degree, psoriasis area, skin lesion shape) (P > 0.05). After treatment, the main symptom integral of the two groups were lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), and the score of treatment group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Yangxue Qufeng Decoction has remarkable effect in the treatment of blood deficiency and wind dryness eczema, and can improve the quality of life and the clinical symptoms of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
