Abstract：Zhongman Fenxiao Decoction comes from Li Dongyuan’s Lanshi Micang. Through warming interior for dispelling cold, activating qi and promoting diuresis method, this formula is mainly used in digestive system diseases with deficient cold of spleen and kidney, internal retention of dampness-turbidity as the main symptoms, such as chronic gastritis, liver ascites, etc. In 50 years of clinical accumulation, Mr. Zang Donglai extended the application of Zhongman Fenxiao Decoction to treat patients with coronary heart disease and potential coronary heart disease, and achieved obvious curative effect. This paper will explore such clinical cases of Mr. Zang Donglai, provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease, and understand the corresponding relationship between “Zhongman” and modern cardiovascular diseases from a new perspective, and open up more possibilities for the modern application of traditional prescriptions.
