Abstract:With the continuous development of China’s medical and health undertakings, medical talents with noble medical ethics are of vital importance to the development of the country, universities and society. Combining with the social cognition theory, this paper summarizes the theoretical basis and practical value of integrating the “moving to the west spirit” into medical ethics education of medical students, and puts forward the methods to change individual cognition, such as increasing individual self-efficacy and improving outcome expectation; building a strong campus cultural environment and other ways to improve medical students’ medical ethics education level lay a foundation for effectively improving medical students ideological and political education.
