Abstract:Objective To analyze the application of electromyography in the field of rehabilitation medicine in China by the application of visualization methods. Methods Relevant literatures of electromyography in rehabilitation medicine collected by China National Knowledge Infrastructure from January 1, 2000 to June 10, 2020 were searched, and visualization analysis was performed with CiteSpace software to understand the research status and hot spots in this field. Results A total of 984 articles were included. The number of articles increased exponentially. The topest magazine in terms of volume of publication was Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine. The author who had published the most articles was Feng Xiaodong. Dou Zulin’s team members were the most. The research institution that published the most articles was the School of Medical Devices and Food of Shanghai University of Science and Technology. After removing keywords related to the subject, “Stroke” was the most frequent and the highest degree centrality keyword. Conclusion The application of electromyography in the field of rehabilitation medicine mainly included clinical research and basic technical research. The research on the application of electromyography in the rehabilitation of patients with stroke was the most.
