Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of health education mode of information-knowledge-belief-behavior in acute pancreatitis. Methods A total of 130 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to 3201 Hospital of Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province from January to October 2020 were selected, according to random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 65 cases in each group. The control group received routine health education, and the observation group receuved the health education concept of information-knowledge-belief-behavior on the basis of the control group, the compliance behavior, self-care ability and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results After the interrention, the compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Scores of self-care ability in both groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of all dimensions in the short from health survey-36 in both groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion In nursing intervention of patients with clinical acute pancreatitis, the application of health education mode of information-knowledge-belief-behavior can improve patients’ compliance behavior, self-care ability and quality of life.
