Abstract:Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is an effective treatment for coronary heart disease at present, and it has been widely used in clinic. However, there is still a higher incidence of chest pain after PCI. Simple western medicine treatment has limitations. Professor Deng Tietao has a great advantage in treating chest pain after PCI by applying “the relevance theory of five zang viscera”, he proposes that the basic pathogenesis of the disease is “deficient root and excessive manifestation” and the pathological change is “first deficiency and then excess”. He advocates the use of traditional Chinese medicine emergency surgery to treat acute chest pain, based on “the relevance theory of five zang viscera”, simultaneous treatment of heart and spleen, simultaneous treatment of phlegm and blood stasis, combination of reinforcing and reducing, combination of internal and external. The purpose of this paper is to summarize Deng Tietao’s experience in treating chest pain after PCI from the perspective of “the relevance theory of five zang viscera”.
