Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of COOK cervical dilatation balloon combined with artificial rupture of membranes in full-term programed delivery. Methods From January 2017 to December 2019, 732 full-term pregnant women in Anhui Maternal and Child Health Hospital who needed to programed delivery were selected for this study. According to the random number table method, they were divided into COOK cervical dilation balloon combined with artificial rupture group (group A) and COOK cervical dilation balloon group (group B). According to inclusion and exclusion criteria, there were 347 cases in group A and 357 cases in group B. The effective rate of induced labor, labor rate and delivery outcome of two groups were compared. Results There were no significant differences in the total effective rate and labor rate between two groups (P > 0.05). The natural delivery rate and 24 h delivery rate of group A were higher than those of group B (P < 0.05). The labor time, the first stage of labor and the total stage of labor of pregnant with natural delivery in group A were shorter than those of group B (P < 0.05). The incidence of amniotic fluid pollution was lower than that of group B (P < 0.05); while there were no significant differences in the incidence of fetal distress, oligohydramnios, chorioamnionitis, neonatal asphyxia, and postpartum hemorrhage between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion COOK cervical dilatation balloon combined with artificial rupture of membranes can shorten the labor time and total labor time, improve 24 h delivery rate and natural delivery rate, and optimize the programed delivery process.
