Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of team empowerment education model combined with empathic care in patients with missed miscarriage. Methods A prospective study was conducted on the medical records of 120 cases of missed miscarriage hospitalized in the Department of Family Planning ward of Wuxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from October 2019 to October 2020. Randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 60 cases in each group, the control group followed the routine care of the abortion care, the intervention group adopted the combination of routine nursing and team authorization education model and empathic care. Self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), visual analogue scale (VAS), health education feedback and in-hospital satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results At discharge, the SAS score of the two groups was lower than that at admission, and the SAS score of the intervention group was lower than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). VAS score of intervention group was lower than that of control group (P < 0.05). Health education feedback and in-hospital satisfaction were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Team empowerment education model combined with empathic care can reduce the anxiety of patients with missed miscarriage, effectively reduce the pain index of patients with miscarry, and improve the understanding of health education content of patients and satisfaction in the hospital, so it is worth promoting.
