Results There were statistically significant differences in the psychological stress scores of different grades, the frequency of contact with tutors and teachers (P < 0.05). The results of multiple linear regression showed that the frequency of contact with the tutor and teachers were related factors that affected the psychological stress score of graduate students (P < 0.05). Conclusion The alleviation of the psychological pressure of graduate students in medical schools can start from the employment and academic aspects. At the same time, they can help and guide the mental health of graduate students in a targeted manner. In addition, graduate students themselves should strengthen communication with their supervisors.
