Influence of targeted nursing intervention on psychological state, disease uncertainty and family function of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus

Abstract：Objective To explore the effects of targeted nursing intervention on the psychological state, disease uncertainty and family function of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Methods A total of 84 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus who were hospitalized in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Science and Technology from March 2018 to August 2020 were selected as the research subjects. By random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, while the observation group was treated with targeted nursing intervention. After three months of nursing intervention, psychological state, disease uncertainty and family function were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, anxiety and depression scores in both groups were decreased, and observation group was lower than control group (P ＜ 0.05). The score of disease uncertainty in both groups was lower than that before intervention, the score of disease uncertainty in observation group was lower than that in control group (P ＜ 0.05). The proportion of family dysfunction in observation group was lower than that in control group (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Targeting nursing intervention can effectively improve the psychological state of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, reduce the sense of uncertainty about the disease, and improve their family function
