Study on the quality standard of Panax notoginseng ultra-low temperature broken wall powder

Abstract:Objective To establish the quality standard of Panax notoginseng ultra-low temperature broken wall powder. Methods According to the detection method of Pharmacy of the People’s Republic of China (2020 edition), 10 batches of Panax notoginseng ultra-low temperature wall powder were tested for its properties, microscopic characteristics, thin-layer chromatography, moisture, ash and extract; and the content of ginsenoside Rb1, ginsenoside Rg1, notoginsenoside R1 were determined by high performance liquid chromatography with Syncronis C18(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) and water-acetonitrile was used as the mobile phase gradient elution, the 30℃ was used as the column temperature, the 0.8 ml/min was used as the flow rate, the 203 nm was used as the detection wavelength. Results The spots in thin-layer chromatography identification were clear and the separation was good. The content of the moisture, total ash, acid-insoluble ash, extract were 8.85%-10.45%, 3.23%-3.49%, 1.69%-2.32%, 18.71%-20.08%. Ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Rb1 and notoginsenoside R1 in the range of 0.0503-2.0133 mg/ml (r = 0.9995), 0.0567-2.2667 mg/ml (r = 0.9995), 0.0196-0.7833 mg/ml (r = 0.9995) showed good linear relationship with the peak area. The average recovery rate of the ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Rb1 and notoginsenoside R1 were 97.2%(RSD = 1.48%), 96.0%(RSD = 1.45%), 102.8% (RSD = 1.59%). Conclusion The method is reliable with good stability and good repeatability, and can be used for the quality control of Panax notoginseng ultra-low temperature broken wall powder.
