Abstract：Objective To understand the current status of the psychological distress of patients with advanced cervical cancer and to analyze its related influencing factors. Methods A total of 350 patients with advanced cervical cancer who were diagnosed and treated in Haikou City Maternity and Child Health Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected, and general information questionnaires, psychological distress survey tools, general anxiety scales and patient health questionnaires were used to describe and analysis. Results A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed in this survey, and 328 were returned. The psychological distress score was (4.37±1.62) points, which was in moderate distress. There were statistical differences in the psychological distress scores of patients with different ages, education backgrounds, children’s conditions, average monthly income and treatment methods (P ＜ 0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the anxiety and depression scores of patients with advanced cervical cancer were positively correlated with the degree of psychological pain (r = 0.417, 0.56, P ＜ 0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, children’s condition, average monthly income, anxiety and depression were the influencing factors of their psychological distress (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Lower age, fewer children, lower average monthly income, higher anxiety and depression scores are related factors affecting the psychological distress of patients with advanced cervical cancer. Medical staff must strengthen comfort and care for these patients, and formulate positive intervention measures can effectively reduce the psychological pain of patients and maintain their physical and mental health.
