Abstract：Early rheumatoid arthritis is the early stage of rheumatoid arthritis, the clinical symptoms are not significant, and there are few studies at present. Based on the characteristics of the “holistic view” of traditional medicine, Professor Cao Wei believes that the diagnosis and treatment of early rheumatoid arthritis play a very important role in the progress and prognosis of rheumatoid arthritis. From the perspective of “preventing the disease-preventing the change of the existing disease”, it is pointed out that Maxing Yigan Decoction of Synopsis of Golden Chamber is in line with the etiology and pathogenesis of early rheumatoid arthritis. The treatment method is mainly to eliminate pathogens, take into account the spleen and lungs, and pay attention to the compatibility of drugs and dosages. By combining ancient classical prescriptions with modern clinical practice, and following the prescription of syndrome, the medicine can get rid of the disease, prevent the pathogenic factors from spreading into the body, and effectively reduce the teratogenic rate of rheumatoid arthritis.
