Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of small akupotomye in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with cold-dampness blockage type. Methods A total of 65 patients with rheumatoid arthritis with cold-dampness blockage type admitted to First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from March 2017 to December 2019 were selected as observation objects, and they were divided into observation group (32 cases) and control group (33 cases) according to random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine, and the observation group was treated with small akupotomye on the basis of the control group. The treatment lasted for two weeks. Symptomatic changes, levels of rheumatoid factor (RF), oxidative stress related indexes and serum inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, joint swelling index and joint tenderness index of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the morning stiffness time was shorter than that before treatment, and the joint swelling index and joint tenderness index of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the morning stiffness time was shorter than that of the control group, with statistical significance (all P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of RF and malondialdehyde (MDA) in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the levels of RF and MDA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and SOD in observation group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of interleukin (IL)-1, IL-6 and C-reactive protein in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistical significance (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Small akupotomye treatment can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis patients with cold-dampness blockage type, reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory response, and reduce the level of RF.
