Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of WeChat-led continuous rehabilitation intervention mode on urodynamics and quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after radical resection of prostate cancer. Methods From July 2017 to June 2018, 120 patients with urinary incontinence after robot-assisted radical prostatectomy admitted to Huai’an First People’s Hospital were admitted. According to the operation time, they were randomly divided into 62 cases in the treatment group (January-June 2018) and 58 cases in the control group (July-December 2017). The control group was given routine continuous rehabilitation care, and the treatment group was given a continuous rehabilitation intervention model based on WeChat. Followed up for three months, the clinical efficacy, urodynamics and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results Followed-up was performed for three months. The effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than in the control group (P < 0.05); the urodynamic indexes of the two groups were significantly higher than those before discharge (P < 0.01), the maximum urine flow, Valsalva leak point pressure, maximum urethral closure pressure, and maximum bladder volume in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.01); the quality of life score of two groups was significantly higher than that of the same group at discharge (P < 0.01), pain, physical strength, appetite, constipation, urination, and overall sensory score were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion Continuous rehabilitation care based on WeChat is helpful to promote urodynamic recovery of patients with urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy, improve clinical efficacy, and improve the quality of life of patients.
