Abstract:The traditional idea of “preventive treatment of disease” in traditional Chinese medicine is mainly reflected in four aspects: prevention before disease, prevention after disease, prevention and cure after change, prevention and cure after stagnation. Professor Wang Lie, a master of traditional Chinese medicine, guides the treatment of pediatric pulmonary diseases, such as asthma, wheezing cough, infantile cold caused by food accumulation (repeated respiratory tract infection), nasal asthma, and so on, and creatively put forward the theories of “asthma seedling stage”“three-stage treatment”“asthma on chronic cough”“nasal asthma”, and so on. In the specific treatment, Professor Wang Lie proposes early intervention, fine treatment and prevention, focusing on the treatment of asthma seedling stage; he proposes that repeated respiratory tract infection is mostly caused by food accumulation and lung heat, treating spleen disease to prevent lung disease, cutting off the occurrence and progress of lung disease; he proposes that rhinorrhea and asthma have the same origin, treating both rhinorrhea and asthma, seeking the root of the disease, so as to prevent the disease from rebirth. Professor Wang Lie’s idea of “preventive treatment of disease” runs through the whole process in the treatment of children’s pulmonary diseases, and the curative effect is remarkable, which is worthy of clinical reference and promotion.
