Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Lactobacillus Vaginal Capsules combined with Nifuratel Tablets in the treatment of senile bacterial vaginitis. Methods A total of 90 elderly patients with bacterial vaginitis in Luzhou People’s Hospital of Sichuan Province from March 2018 to January 2020 were selected as the research subjects. According to random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 45 cases in each group. Control group was treated with Nifuratel Tablets, and observation group was combined with Lactobacillus Vaginal Capsules on the basis of control group. Both groups were treated continuously for one week. The clinical efficacy and improvement time of clinical symptoms were compared between two groups. The serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), serum amyloid A (SAA), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) were compared between two groups before and after treatment. The patients were followed up for 6 months to record and observe the adverse reactions and recurrence of two groups. Results The improvement time of vulva vaginal pain, mucosal congestion, abnormal leucorrhea and vulva pruritus in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in the levels of SAA, CRP and TNF-α between two groups (P > 0.05). After treatment, the levels of SAA, CRP and TNF-α in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and observation group was lower than control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in SOD and MDA levels between two groups (P > 0.05). After treatment, SOD level of two groups were higher than those before treatment, and observation group was higher than control group; MDA level of two groups were lower than those before treatment, and observation group was lower than control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). During the treatment, no obvious adverse reactions were observed in two groups. During the follow-up, no cases were shed. Three and six months after treatment, the recurrence rate of observation group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Lactobacillus Vaginal Capsules combined with Nifuratel Tablets in the treatment of senile bacterial vaginitis can improve symptoms, reduce oxidative stress, and reduce the level of inflammatory factors, the curative effect is definite.
