Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of based on CICARE communication mode nursing in patients with fracture of tibial plateau (FTP) surgery. Methods A prospective study of 107 FTP patients admitted to Hainan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2018 to March 2020 was included, according to the odd-even number of hospitalized patients, 53 patients with even number were included in group A and 54 patients with single number were included in group B; group A were received routine care and group B were received based on CICARE communication mode care. Before surgery and on the day of discharge, negative emotions, nursing satisfaction was compared between the two groups; the knee function of the two groups was compared before and after six months of follow-up. Results There was no significant difference in the scores of hamilton anxiety (HAMA) and hamilton depression (HAMD) scale between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05); the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups on the day of discharge were lower than those before operation, and the scores of HAMA and HAMD in group B were lower than those in group A, with statistical significance (P ＜ 0.05); the nursing satisfaction of group B was higher than group A, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05); the knee function scores of both groups six months after surgery were higher than those before surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in knee function between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05). Conclusion FTP patients adopt CICARE communication mode nursing, which is beneficial to reduce patients’ negative emotions and improve nursing satisfaction.
