Abstract:Objective To analyze the related factors affecting compliance of nebulizer therapy in asthma children with acute stage. Methods A total of 100 asthma children with acute stage who received nebulizer therapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force Military Medical University (Xijing Hospital) from January 2018 to January 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. All children were assessed with medication adherence report scale for ssthma (MARS-A), and univariate and multivariate were used to identify the influencing factors for poor atomization compliance in asthma children with acute stage. Results There were 74 cases (74.00%) had poor compliance with nebulizer therapy. There were statistically significant differences between two groups in the degree of understanding of nebulizer therapy related knowledge, psychological state of children, nebulization method, type of nebulization drugs, and parents’ distrust of medical personnel between two groups(all P < 0.05). Poor understanding of nebulization knowledge by parents, poor psychological state of children, air pressure nebulization, use of glucocorticoids, and parents’ distrust of medical personnel were the influencing factors of poor nebulization compliance in asthma children with acute stage (OR > 1, P < 0.05). Conclusion Some asthma children with acute stage have poor compliance with nebulizer therapy, which may be affected by the poor understanding of nebulizer therapy related knowledge by parents, poor psychological state of children, air pressure nebulization and other factors. Clinical attention should be paid to the early assessment of asthma children with acute stage, and reasonable intervention should be carried out according to risk factors.
